Important three points lost in the battle for the second place in the division as Deportivo Real 45 defeats West End United 5 – 4 at home. West End was off to a decent start as Tomasz setup Oscar for his third of the season to take an early 1 – 0 lead. With the score tied at 1 – 1, Oscar got West End back on top with an individual effort sending a beautiful left-footed lobbing shot that beat the keeper on the short side for his second of the night. Deportivo once again tied the score and then took a two-goal lead before the end of the first half. Alberto got West End back within one goal in the first 15 minutes of the second half with a great long-distance finish for his fourth of the season. Unfortunately, Deportivo responded quickly and regained their two-goal advantage. With 2 minutes left in the game, Cam with a free kick from within West End’s own half beat the keeper five hole for his first of the season and got West End within one goal, but it was too little too late. Mark stood his ground to keep the score as close as it was making some great saves when he needed to keep West End in the game. A disappointing loss for sure.
