After a 20-month absence, West End United hit the turf again in the first game of the 2021/2022 season against one of the better teams in the division, Deportivo Real 45.  With some new faces and a lot of “rust” to shake off, West End managed to keep Deportivo off the scoreboard until the 15th minute of the first half.  With goals from Alberto and German, West End went into the halftime break with one goal deficit.  Justin added one more to West End’s tally, but unfortunately the final score ended in favor of Deportivo 8 – 3.
