West End United hit the road for the second time this season visiting Highlands FC. West End got on the board first when Waseem made a great play which German took full advantage of with a good finish for his first gaol of the season. A defensive mistake at the 16 year line “gifted” Highlands FC a free kick which they finished with a very well executed shot just under the cross bar. Early in the second half Glenn scored his first gaol of the match with a great effort fighting of a pesky Highland’s defenseman and finishing with a great shot. with 35 minutes remaining in the match Huu picked up his second yellow card of the match for an unsportsmanlike behavior which forced West End to play a much more defensive game for the remainder of match. West End played well with midfield and forwards doing a great job covering and helping out on defense to register West End’s 2 win of the season.
