Last game of the regular season did not go West End United’s way. The chance of moving up from the last position in the division was squashed with a 3 – 2 loss to Inter FC 45. It was a bit of a defensive blunder and lack of finish on a number of chances that contributed to the defeat. Inter FC scored the opener in the match to which West End responded with Waseem’s fifth goal of the season to tie the game at one each. Two more goals from Inter however saw them restore their lead by 2 and it wasn’t until Bartek’s last minute goal that West End responded, but it was too little too late to try and salvage a point out of the game.
