West End United hosted Luxur 45 FC for the team’s second meeting of the season.  Tomasz got things going for West End early in the match from a corner kick with a strange head-shoulder-body shot basically putting the ball through the keeper into the net.  Luxur responded few minutes later with a goal of their own to tie the match 1 – 1, but it won’t be until the end of the match that they will find the back of West End’s net again.  Oscar got West End back on top in a bit of a penalty box scramble with a well-placed shot beating the keeper on the short side for his second of the season.  In the late stages of the first half, Greg D. increased West End’s lead to 3 – 1 perfectly executing a penalty shot for his first goal in West End colors.   Midway thought the second Kevin presented Janusz with a great pass which he finished in style to seal the win for West End.  With 4 minutes remaining Luxur was finally able to respond with a goal of their own for a 4 – 2 final.   With Alberto and Oscar controlling the midfield, defense and offense firing on all cylinders and Wes doing his part between the posts to keep West End in the game especially in the early stages;  this was a good solid team effort to get the win and much needed 3 points.
