After a solid performance, West End United registered their first win of the season at the expense of Luxur FC 45.  However, the game did not start out well as the first goal of the night went to Luxur after a good build up and a very good finish.  West End stayed focused and disciplined.  Justin tied the game with a great goal placing the ball in the top left corner of the net.  Some bad news came shortly after as Daniel reinjured his knee coming out of his net for a challenge.  The extent of his injury is not yet known.  Luxur took the lead for the second time of the game with a solid strike past Greg who took over the responsibility over from Daniel.   West End tied the game from Keith's wonderful free kick and then took the lead for the first time in the game from a solid effort from Kevin, Tom and Bartek who scored his first goal of the night. Second half saw Luxur tie the game after a bit of a breakdown in the midfiled with a week shot that just got away from Greg and went in off the post.  However, with few minutes left in the game, Justin’s great effort to chase the ball down the right-side setup Peter for his first goal of the season which he finished in style to take the game home for West End 4 - 3.  There was much improvement from previous game, mostly in the back row.  Ryszard stayed composed and played his best game of the season getting under the skin of one of Luxur forwards.  Mark unfortunately picked up his and teams' first yellow card on what was a weak call by the referee.   Overall a good game against an opponent that turned out to be stronger than expected.
