West End United seem to still be reeling from their lost last week as they could not get their game going in a 3 – 2 loss to Parkland FC in the second game of the post season.   Again, Justin got West End got on the scoreboard first finishing a nice cross into the penalty box midway through the second half.  It was a short-lived lead however, as Parkland tied the game soon after from a well-executed corner kick.  They then took a 2 – 1 lead early in the second half, but this time it was West End turn to tie the game up.  Alberto made use of Ryszard’s nice feed into the penalty box beating the stunned keeper from half volley just under the cross bar.   It looked like West End are going to come up with 1 point from the game, but with 90 seconds left Mark got a piece of a hard cross-in from his left that unfortunately ricocheted off of Tony into West End’ net.  A hard loss to swallow for sure, but West End need to compose themselves for the upcoming match against Victoria which for sure will be their toughest game yet.
