West End United visited the currently second-seated Polonia for the teams’ second match-up of the season.  Polonia opened up the scoring in the second minute of the first half and when they scored one more flew minutes later it looked like they might have a “field day” at West End ‘s expense.  However, West End finally settled into the game and got themselves on the scoreboard.  Ryszard, with a nice cross-in setup Xion Zhi for his second goal of the season, a goal he wanted so bad he literally walked the ball into the net.  Before the half-time whistle however, Polonia regained their two-goal lead and added one more in the early stages on the second half.  West End responded again with Oscar’s very well executed penalty shot after Xion Zhi was taken down in the penalty area by Polonia’s keeper ultimately ending Xion Zhi’s game for the night with a leg injury.  Polonia kept pressing and were rewarded with two more goals to which West End was only able to respond with one curtesy of Justin who tapped-in a nice cross-in from Raymond.  Score aside, a respectful showing for West End opposing a very good Polonia team with their two top scorers in the line-up
