With only 7 players to begin the match, West End United kept Powerplay FC to only 2 goals in the first 15 minutes of the game.  Finally with the full squad, Alberto finishing a great feed from Oscar got West End on the board with a nice long distance curl for his second of the season.  Now, with a bit of a jump in their step West End kept pressing but failed to finished their opportunities to get on level terms.  In the second half as fatigue started to settle-in and and West End’s pace slowed Powerplay took advantage with a commanding 4 – 1 lead.  Mark made sure it stays that way with a world class penalty kick save worthy of many replays.  A disappointing loss as West End’s chances for a medal round playoff spot are slipping away further with every defeat.
