A greatly depleted West End United squad hosted the current Division leader, Victoria, to what ended up to be a one-sided affair score-wise. West End did produce some good quality chances but lack the finish to put the ball in the back of the net. After allowing 4 goals in the first half, with only one sub and the fatigue settling in West End allowed Victoria to extend their lead to 9 – 0 by the game’s end. On a positive note, Mark made some very good saves to keep the score to single digits. West End also played a very good disciplined game and did not give up throughout the 70 minutes of play considering the outcome of the match.
