West End United could not carry over their momentum and intensity from the previous game as they lose to bottom seated MC United.   Both teams created some decent scoring opportunities but failed to capitalize and the match went scoreless until the mid-section of the second half, when a completely unmarked MC United forward gave Mark no chance finding the back of the net with a point-blank shot.  West End kept pressing looking for a tying goal, but with six minutes left in the game, Greg B’s keeper flash backs from two games ago took over as he stopped a shot with his hand in the penalty box getting himself yellow-carded and giving MC United a penalty shot for a 2 – 0 lead.   The game ended in disappointment for sure and with only one game remaining does not leave the team much hope of moving up in the rankings.
