West End United opened the 2017/2018 indoor season with a 4 – 5 loss at the hand or rather feet of Inter FC.  The game started out well with Keith burring his first goal of the season to put West End up by one.  First half saw a bit of line-up disorganization as West End conceded 5 goals trying to figure out the new 8 vs. 8 format.  They re-grouped and staged a comeback in the second half with 3 unanswered goals which unfortunately was not enough to salvage the game.  Keith added one more to his tally for the night with German and D’Arcy scoring one each.

The game also saw some new faces in the line-up including midfielder Waseem and a new full time keeper, Daniel.  Daniel replaced Greg, who has done a great job in net over the past few seasons filling in while United was trying to sign a new keeper.
