West End United could not get their game engine to full speed against Luxur FC 45 in their second game of the year. Luxur went up by two goals early in the first half and West End found themselves chasing this lead for the remainder of the first 35 minutes. Second half was a fairly evenly matched affair as West End kept ahead by one goal and could not pull away to guarantee themselves a win. Luxur kept coming back and tied the game with only 3 minutes left to steal West End’s win. Highlights of the game for West End was Bartek’s individual effort to set himself up for a superb goal from outside the box and a first goal of the season for Karl, Omer and Keith. Overall a decent game for West End, but it did feel like a loss as they just could not get o their previous week’s performance against Polonia.
